We currently provide 2 sizes, 29 inches and 28 inches. Please measure the base dimensions of your laundry machines to ensure they are within the two sizes we provide. We generally recommend our 29 inch pedestal for the larger machines that are 29 inches in width and anything less than 28 inches should go with the 28 inch pedestal. Since many laundry rooms have limited space, please go with the smallest size that will still fit your machine.

Laundry machines generally have the same dimensions at the bottom so a 27 inch wide laundry machine will generally have a base dept of 27 inches as well. The dimensions provided by the manufacturer usually included the protrusion of the door and rear so while the width may be listed as 27 inches and the depth 30.5 inches, the actual depth of the base is 27 inches. See picture below.

Note: Raise the feet of your laundry machine if it interferes with the raised shelf of the pedestal.

The EZ Laundry pedestal does not require the attachment of your laundry machines to the pedestal. Your laundry machine(s) simply sit on top of the pedestals but they are secured inside the pedestal by the provided rubber pads and the raised edges of the top shelf. The raised edges keep your machines secured inside the pedestal.

Yes. Due to the many color variations across all manufacturers our colors try to be as universal and generic as possible. We test dozens of color codes across all brands to try and determine the best possible color match. The next color we hope to introduce is grey but we would love to hear more feedback from our customers. 

Update: Grey 28" to become available sometime in December 2023 with limited quantity.

The EZ Laundry pedestal elevates your laundry machine by 16 inches.

If you need California Compliance of 18 inches in the garage, we recommend separately purchasing anti vibration pads that raise your machine an additional 2 inches minimum. 

Anti-vibration feet pads can be separately purchased to bring your machines into CA compliance.

 Update: Our new 18" height pedestals will become available sometime in December 2023 with limited quantity.

 You will have to refer to your manual for exact instructions but generally there are four leveling legs on the bottom of each washer and dryer. Starting with all legs at the shortest setting, you can rock the machine back and forth or use a leveling tool to determine which legs need to be adjusted in order to reduce the wobble or when the bubble is centered on the leveling tool. You can turn the legs to adjust to the necessary length and then use the lock nuts to lock in place.

Our latest pedestals have been tested to withstand over 700 pounds. Most washing machines range from 180 to 250 pounds, factoring in weight for water and laundry our pedestals should be able to handle any commercially available washing machine.

 Although our pedestals have been tested to withstand over 700 pounds we have only designed and tested our product to be used unstacked and we do not warranty or offer any guarantees if our product is used in this manner.

We have had customers reach out to us in the past with success in using their stacked units or Washtower with our pedestals. Please be mindful of the ceiling height to make sure there is enough clearance for you to install.
